These two little girls live down the street from me and attend the same church. This year one of them was able to start kindergarten and the other had to stay home and spend more time with mom. Since they are so close (best pals) they are finding this quite hard to do but you would never know by their smiles.
My two youngest girls went through the same thing when Jessica went off to Kindergarten (many years ago). Jessica would come home and teach Ashley what she had learned that day at school. They're the closest of my three girls and I think it was that after-school bonding that helped.
