Back To School With Parents Magazine


For years the Parents magazine has been there to celebrate the firsts. There are many firsts in a childs life and every year that your child is a school age they will have the first day of school. Parents.com is there once again to offer tips and ideas for making the school year the best one. Among Tips for making the year successful include:


  • Insisting on a good night's sleep. This can be harder than it seems especially if your child has grown used to going to bed later and getting up earlier in the summer. A good idea is to enforce an earlier bedtime two weeks before school starts. Sleep is very important to students to concentrate and follow school rules

  • Reading together to demonstrate to share the reading an experience, broaden the students love to read and help in recall of what they are reading at school.

Other tips include how you can be involved as a parent, remind student of rules, importance of checking the back pack and other great tips can be found.
