Dremel 8200 Review

The Dremel 8200

We were delighted to receive the Dremel 8200 to review. My hubby is another Tim Taylor and in such loves tools. The Dremel 8200 is just not another tool but it is the tool for creating with a rotary tool. It is a cordless high performance rotary tool that combines the performance one would receive from a corded tool with the convenience and flexibility of a cordless tool. Let me tell you this tool makes the difference with no more cords to trip over or get in the way creating just became a bit easier. Just think of all the jobs that the Dremel 8200 is perfect for cutting, sanding, grinding, carving, engraving, routing, cleaning, polishing and many more. While my hubby dreams of all the jobs he can do with it my mind begins to drift to jobs he can make for me like the picnic table, the wooden lawn chairs he so promised me, the wonderful front porch that needed those spiral curls and the list goes on

The Dremel 8200 is so versatile featuring a variable speed range of 5,000 to 30,000 rotations per minute and is compatible with all Dremel accessories and attachments which includes the high performance multisaw and planer attachment. This to me means I can add jobs to that growing list of projects hubby can do now. Since the Dremel 8200 is built with an enhanced design with 360 degree grip zone with soft grip he should be able to do more projects with all the new comfort and stability. Let's see we can add so many more things to the list. Hubby says the Dremel 8200 is working great so I am sure he won't mind.

The Dremel 8200 is the only cordless rotary tool available that features new high performance motor that provides maximum performance at all speeds. So I realize there are things like the porch spirals that will take a bit more time but then there is the picnic table that can go a bit faster and at every speed the Dremel 8200 will keep up with my hubby. The only question now is can my hubby keep up with it? The Dremel 8200 has a battery with 12VMAX Lithium-Ion battery that allows it to cut two times faster than the leading cordless rotary tool. Another great feature (for the Dremel 8200 and me that is not so much for hubby) is that it comes with a one hour charger which is the fastest charger ever offered by Dremel. This means the Dremel 8200 has less downtime and my hubby God bless his soul will have less downtime as well.

The Dremel 8200 does not need a cord so it can go anywhere we need it. I think that my daughters house can use a bit of a pick me up as well. We can take it in the RV or any where we please. The battery fuel gauge will let us know before the battery dies so that we can get it charged quickly. After all we don't want hubby to get bored. The Dremel 8200 comes with a two year warranty and retails for a suggested retail price range from $99 to $139 USD. In Canada, the Dremel 8200 kits will retail for a suggested retail range from $129 to $169 CAD.

We recieved a Dremel 8200 for review purposes thanks to Dremel for allowing me to review the Dremel 8200.
