Soles 4 Souls is a Nashville Tennessee based charity that collects shoes from warehouses of footwear companies and the closets of individuals like me and you. The charity collects the shoes and then gives them to people in need free of charge regardless of race, religion, or class. Soles 4 souls started in 2005 and since that time has given away over 7 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes. The soes have been distribued to people in over 125 countries, including Kenya, Thailand, Nepal and the U.S. They have been featured in many magazines as well as being spotlighted on T.V. Soles 4 Souls is celebrating Barefoot Week and I heart faces is joining in.
What a great charity! We are swimming in shoes we can't use any more...and with small kiddos, those shoes have barely been used.
