Toothache Remedy needed

Aloha Friday has reached us once again a day to take it easy and relax like Kailani from An Island Life says they do on Friday's in Hawaii. On Aloha Friday we relax, take it easy and ask each other a simple question today my question has to do with what happened last night when I woke up with a toothache which has now gone away. So my question is:
Do you have a simple toothache remedy? What is it?

  1. I wish I did - I've used motrin, or ice pops and even at one point used baby oragel when I was preggo once!

  2. OH! My daughter just had an abcess tooth and toothache. We let her swish peroxide aorund and the next day it was almost gone. She did it again and all better. Of Course we still took her to the dentist the the next day.

Also, I have heard that Clove oil on the tooth in question helps sooth it a great deal.. Also, Dont for get that you might be able to get away with using Vicks cholraseptic spray or oragel since the numb areas

  3. It's been years, but think I used to get a washcloth really wet and warm or cold and let them sort of stick in their mouth and just suck and chew on it! Sort of took their minds off the pain!

  5. I think you have to just go to dentist - I've found they don't go away on their own. So painful too!

  7. About once a month it seems lately I end up eating a ton of sour candy and it ends up causing my teeth to hurt and be really sensitive to any eating. What I normally do is make sure to brush my teeth really good (like timing for at least 1 min) and use Act mouthwash morning and night. This usually gets me back to normal in like 1-2 days and it doesn't require anything special cause I have toothpaste, toothbrush and Act.
