Spring time , Easter and German Potato Salad

This type of weather always reminds of those picnics that we took when I was growing up in my mothers house. One recipe that we always had on these picnics was German Potato Salad. German Potato Salad always went great with Easter Ham as well. If you want to try this great recipe that was always made here its is.

German Potato Salad
5 potatoes, boiled unpeeled and sliced not to thin
1 onion, sliced and ringed
2 to 3 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
1 c sugar
3/4 t salt
1/8 t pepper
1/4 t dry mustard
1/4 c vinegar
1 c water
3 T flour
Mix sugar, salt, pepper, mustard, vinegar, water, flour together. Pour into hot bacon grease, heat thick. Add potatoes and onions, Mix and let set without heat 2 hours. Re heat before serving Can reheat in crockpot if you wish.
