How Long Will Meat Stay Good in Kitchen




Have you ever seen a great meat sale but did not know how you would use the meat before it went bad? Freeze it and here is a great freezer chart to let you know how long the meat will stay good.







Bacon or sausage: one to two months
Ham, hot dogs or cold cuts: two to three months
Raw roasts, steaks or chops: four to twelve months
Raw ground meatmeatmeat: three to four months
Cooked meatmeatmeat: two to three months
Raw, whole poultry: one to two months
Raw poultry parts: nine months
Cooked poultry: four months
Raw, wild game: eight to twelve months

  1. Wow! Great post.. I am sad to say that at tax time I buy meat in bulk at sams... I use it all year long... Guess I needed this chart!
