Christmas time is nearing we are looking forward to getting together with our girlfriends and may even be looking for the perfect present to give them.     it's not a moment that's happened yet, but one for which i've often prepared! i'm nearing the end of my fourth pregnancy, and towards the end, i think many women's fears revolve around our water breaking in public! so (at the suggestion of a very understanding midwife), every time i go in to a grocery store, the first thing i pick up is a giant jar of pickles. if my water should happen to break as i'm shopping, my plan is to throw the glass pickle jar to the floor as quickly as possible and blame it all on the pickles!! :)

    Back when I lived in the dorms in college, I was talking about a girl on my floor..only to turn around to have her standing right behind me. I wasn't really saying anything bad, but no one likes to be talked about behind their back. I definitely felt like an idiot.

    Riding the public transit and the man who's a double amputee gets on in his wheel chair and my four year old son says very loudly "Mommy, where did that man's legs go?"

    A moment where I have to scramble to gently explain to my son and apologize to the man at the same time.

    Years ago when my daughter was about 3 we were having a family get together and she was talking to my Mother~In~Law and I heard her tell her that I said that dress she bought her for Christmas would fit her when she was 5 and who knows where it would be then! Oops! :-)
