Cowboy beans recipe

Recently I was asked what Cowboy Beans were when I listed them on a menu. Well Here is the recipe



COWBOY BEANS


1 lg. can pork n beans
1 can lima beans, drained
1 can kidney beans
1 can chili beans
1 can butter beans, drained
1/2 to 1 lb. bacon, cut up
1 c. ketchup
3/4 c. molasses
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 onion, chopped

Fry bacon crisp; add onion and cook. Add ketchup, molasses and brown sugar and cook for a few minutes. Add all kinds of beans. Put in a 3-quart covered casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
