Happy Homemaker Monday

hhm Happy Homemaker Monday can be found on the blog Diary of a Stay At Home Mom

The weather in my neck of the woods: getting warmer it has been a cooler sort of summer but today was warmer

One of my simple pleasures: I would say one of my simple pleasures is talking to my children as they get so excited with what ever they are doing

On my bedside table: I have my budget binder, my bible and my blog notebook on my bedside table sort of a weird combo

On my TV: I am watching a sort of game show where families travel around in RVs and compete to stay in the game

On the menu for tonight: we had chicken breast sandwiches, chips, beans and fruit salad

On my To Do List: laundry, wash sheets in kids bedrooms and deep clean kitchen

New Recipe I tried last week: I actually made this just yesterday but was delicious barbq beef

In the craft basket: I have some ideas going on for back to school event at church as well as for the sunday school class

Looking forward to: first football game which will be last part of this year, back to school event at church, start of my twins senior year of high school, moving son into dorm at his college

Homemaking Tip for this week: here is a great window washing mix recipe

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other): Bible School Dominated my week so this would be my favorite post

Favorite Photo from Last Week:

Lesson Learned Past Few Days: Sometimes you need to listen to those younger than you in order to learn the truth and how things are really done behind the scenes.
