Aloha Friday
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
This week we have been concentrating on going back to school. I have been recalling wonderful experiences I had at school as well. Like my first boyfriend, or hanging out on cold days at the kitchen vent where the steam would come out, the little secrets that we shared with each other. I have found many of my school friends on facebook. My question today is:
I would like to know if you use facebook and if you have found friends and family online?

I don't use FB as often as I use to. But, it is a good way to keep in touch with people far away.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!

ReplyDeleteI use Facebook and keep in touch with my friends.
ReplyDeleteI do have a Facebook - I have found many of my old friends on there & reconnected. It's great for that! I don't use it everyday though..no time :)
ReplyDeleteNope I use to but blogging takes my time now :)
ReplyDeleteI do have a FB page and I rarely use it. If I do it is solely to keep up with my parents, in-laws, brother and BIL and SIL.
ReplyDeleteI use facebook for friends and family. I don't spend that much time on it though. I use it less and less because of all the time I seem to waste on it.
ReplyDeleteI don't really use FB that much. No friends and only one family member.
ReplyDeleteI've been using FB for a couple of years to connect with family and old and new friends.
ReplyDeleteI use FB only for blogging stuff.
ReplyDeleteI use Facebook, and I've found a lot of friends from back home. I know many of the friendships are very insignificant - these aren't people I'd have over for dinner or anything - but it's interesting to see what's going on in their lives, and how we've all gone in such different directions. My mom joined Facebook last year, which was a little weird at first, but she used it to share pictures of my parents' 35th anniversary trip to Ireland. I think she was trying to make us all jealous!
ReplyDeleteI used to & yes, I was able to connect w/ quite a few people but then I realized that I was giving away a little too much info about myself, my family & where we live. After having lived for 12 yrs as an AF spouse & being cautious about security issues, well, I ended up dumping it.
ReplyDeleteoh, yes, i do use facebook and have found many old friends and classmates through it. i keep in touch with my family so it was just a matter of them telling me when they finally got their own profiles. i use FB to keep in contact with all my friends and acquaintances.
ReplyDeleteYes, I use FB. I mainly use it to keep in touch with my local friends, people I went to school with and my cousins in Israel.
ReplyDeleteYes and yes. I love Facebook. Just last week I met an old friend from high school for dinner. It was awesome.
ReplyDeleteI do use facebook and have actually found some people from elementary school that I now talk to a bit :)
