Get It Done Guy's book 9 Steps To WOrk Less and Do More

I am sure if it were possible we would all love to do everything that needs to be done in a day but do it easily and with less work. The Get It Done Guys 9 9th book is exactly that in the book he shares his thoughts on How To Work Less and Do More. Steve Robbins the host of    Quick and Dirty Tips network's Get-it-Done Guy podcast, an iTunes #1 business podcast is also known as The Get It Done Guy. Steve Robbins latest book How To Work Less and Do More was released on September 14, 2010. The nine steps covered in his book are:
  • Step 1. Live and work on purpose
  • Step 2: Stop procrastinating
  • Step 3: Conquer your technology
  • Step 4: Cultivate focus
  • Step 5: Stay organized (mentally as well as physically)
  • Step 6: Don't waste time. A lot of supposedly “on task” work
  • Step 7: Optimize!
  • Step 8: Build stronger relationships
  • Step 9: Leverage!
I was able to read some of the excerpts from Steves book and must say that I love the manner in which it is wrote. Straight forward with a bit of humor so that it does not seem boring or overwhelming. Starting any new adventure in life takes  a bit of attitude and a lot of work. I love the fact that the book How to Work Less and Do More is out there so individuals like myself who often get overwhelmed with the ongoings of life can receive a helping hand. Just listen to the video and you will see how not only young but how friendly, eager and wonderful advice that he can offer.

Some of his ideas are so right on like this one for Starting a Meeting on Time:
Quick Tip: How to Start Meetings On Time
There's nothing that's more of a time suck than waiting for people to show up to a meeting. You say, "The meeting will start promptly at 2pm," and people think they can be a few minutes late. After all, they aren't the one sitting in a conference room twiddling their thumbs waiting; you are.

Instead, schedule your meetings for odd times: 2:05pm, 11:13am. People remember the meeting time and they're there on time. I have no idea why it works, but I'll go check out some scientific journals and see what I can figure out. Meet you back here in 9 minutes, exactly.

You have to check this book out if you have any deadlines, appointments, responsibilities, organization or simply living life. It is a book that will help in my opinion nearly everyone. To check this book at go to http://getitdoneguynews.com
