Cereal Bowl Egg and Cheese Breakfast Burrito recipe

Cereal Bowl Egg and Cheese Breakfast Burrito

1 flour tortilla (6-inch)
1 EGG
1 Tbsp. shredded Mexican cheese blend
1 Tbsp. salsa



LINE 2-cup microwave-safe cereal bowl with microwave-safe paper towel. PRESS tortilla into bowl. BREAK egg into center of tortilla. BEAT egg gently with a fork until blended, being careful not to tear tortilla. MICROWAVE on HIGH 30 seconds; stir. MICROWAVE until egg is almost set, 15 to 30 seconds longer. REMOVE tortilla with paper towel liner from bowl to flat surface. TOP egg with cheese and salsa. FOLD bottom of tortilla over egg, then fold in sides.

  1. This is a great quick and easy way to make a breakfast burrito! Thanks for the excellent time saving tip!

    I usually make our egg burritos in a pan although I usually have to cook the eggs first in a skillet, then remove the eggs from pan, add the eggs to the tortilla, fold over the tortilla and then place the tortilla in a new skillet and cook until it's crisp. This can take about 20-30 minutes until the Breakfast Burrito is finished.

    Therefore having the option to cook in the microwave is fantastic idea. Thanks so much again and look forward to trying.
