Magic Cookie Bar
1 c butter
3 c graham crumbs
2 can condense milk
4 c chocolate chips
3 c coconut
2 c chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees In a 9 x 13 pan Melt the butter Sprinkle graham crumbs over top Layer ingredients in order given. Press down all with fork. Bake 25 minutes Cut in bars

1 t salt
2 1/2 c flour

Mix water and oil Add yeast , sugar, and salt. Add 2 c flour and mix smooth. Knead enough flour in to make soft dough Knead 8 minutes Place in greased bowl turn to grease Cover Rise 30 min Spread in pan Freeze or top with toppings brush with italian dressing and bake 450 degrees for 12 minutes

Harper is a little new born baby that needs your prayers. She was born with som very serious problems and God is controll of all and her parents realize that. Lets prayer for this couple and for the baby that all will be well.

Dear Heavenly father, we adore you and know that all is in your hands. We know that you know what will happen and we also know where the fear comes from. We know that you are not the fear and we ask that the fear be removed from our hearts. We trust you Lord and know that you will take care of this precious family and that all will be well. Lord please watch over this little miracle that you created. Please watch over the doctors, nurses and all that come in contact with this little life. Lord we also ask that you in wisdom comfort this family as it is a very difficult time as we all know to come before with our needs not knowing what will happen that you do and that you do. Thankful Thursday

When we sit inside a house when it is freezing outside how can we not be thankful? Thankful that God gave us a roof over our head and that we are able to still find the money to pay the rent. Thankful that we do not have to be outside on such a cold day. Thankful that he takes us down paths where we learn lessons so that when we hear bad weather is coming we are prepared and have plenty of water with no fear of being without. We sit down at our table and eat our supper and again we should be thankful. Thankful that we have a family to sit down with, thankful that we have a table to sit down to and thankful for the food that has been provided for us. Without him we would be nowhere and lost in the world. But because of God we can be thankful that he allready knows what our future days hold and we can be thankful that he is an awesome God that loves us very much.

Budget Friendly Meal Frugal Friday

Mixed Up Buritos
2 lb hamburger
16 oz tomato sauce
1/2 c water
2 t mustard
2/3 c rice
salt
pepper
totillas

Brown meat Stir in sauce, rice, water, season Stir Boil Simmer 30 minutes Wrap in tortilla

Crumb Cake
2 c flour
1 c brown sugar
1 c butter
1 t soda
1 egg
1 c milk
chopped apple
brown sugar
cinamon

Mix flour, brown sugar and butter. Set aside. In second bowl mix soda, egg, milk, Mix Pour into a 9 x 13 Top with chopped apples Sprinkle mixture of brown sugar and cinamon over top Sprinkle the crumbed mix over the op of all of this and pat down. Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes

This young lady is sporting it well and she will be the birthday girl very soon I can not believe it my little girl will be 18 years old and graduate from highschool. This outfit was bought super frugally because she decided 1 week prior to prom she wanted to go. So we went on a hunt. We got everything for under $75 shoes, dress, jewlry, hair stuff, etc... That was great so this year we will be doing the same sort of thing but a bit earlier.

few new recipes to help make a happy home

Making a happy home involved making a menu, shopping, and straightning the pantry and the freezer to put up the groceries. This involved buying 2 weeks worth of groceries and spicing up the family meal plan.


I needed to spice the meals in my home up a bit. Meal time is always great here but sometimes we get in ruts and need to spice it up so here is what I found

Truckstop Biscut and Gravy
2 can fridge biscuts
lb hamburger
1/2 t pepper
1/2 t garlic
5 c milk
1/2 c flour
2 cream cheese

Bake biscuts Brown meat add spices Mix milk and flour Shake Pour milk into skillet Add cheese Cook Stir often til thickened and cheese melts Spoon over biscuts

All American Cheeseburgers
lb hamburger brown drain
3 T catsup
2 t mustard
2 c velvetta
10 buns

Place hamburger in crockpot add next 2 Mix Top with cubed cheese Cover Cook Low 4 hours Mix Spoon on buns

busy day

My creativity came from what I love to do it came from taking care of my family and their need of eating.Today was one of my busiest days. I had to quickly create a menu 3 days prior to the regular day of shopping because we are expecting bad weather this week and I wanted to get the shopping done. So I created a 2 week shopping plan went shopping cleaned my freezer out that had not been cleaned out before christmas because of cookie dough that ds sold and has now been delivered. So we rearranged that I wish I had a camera to show pics. This was my day then straigtned my daughters room So today was a busy day.

Monday Menu

I love to plan menus and look for new and a bit different recipes but today I found myself unprepared with no menu, no shopping list and no real plan as to what I was going to do. i quickly checked the shoppers and found the sales, built from there and some old recipes I was wanting to make and a couple I wanted to try. Here is what I came up with:

S ham and bean supper will also fixed grilled ham slices, cornbread and m & m cookies
