Spiritual Sunday

Someone recently asked me what Judgement House was after I stated that I was preparing to help in one. Judgement House is a way for Christians to demonstrate through drama what a non believe may experience if they died without Jesus. This is a very serious issue so we take Judgement House very serious as well.

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

this verse means that no matter if we have lived a great life or not. No matter if we have given all we have. We were all born with sin in our lives and this means that we must receive salvation before we die to enter the gates of heaven.

You may ask next well what is salvation and how do I receive such a gift?

John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that who so ever believeth in him will not perish but have everlasting life.

What a wonderful verse. God loved us (all) his children so much that he gave his only son (Jesus Christ) to die for our sins. All we need to do to live with him forever is to believe and we will live forever with him

Judgement House walks through a drama from the persons life to death through the choice they made in life to believe or not. Whether their path leads to heaven or hell

  1. I had not heard of Judgment House either. Sounds like a good way to teach. Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father but by me." Most people in our world today do not believe that. I think most people think that as long as you're a good person it doesn't matter what you believe. Perhaps the real problem is there aren't really any "good" people. The Bible also says ALL have sinned. Since all have sinned, all need forgiveness. Jesus came and died that we might receive that forgiveness.
    Have a good week.

  3. Our Son-in-love and daughter have put these Judgment House on before and the impact it made on those who went to see it was worth all of the time and effort it took. I so admire those who volunteer their time and services to have a part in the up building of God's kingdom.
    Thank you for sharing.

  8. There is a church in town that puts on Judgment House. I have yet to see it but would really like to. Years ago I went to one similar called Heaven's Gates, Hell's Flames and it left quite an impact. Definitely worth seeing.
